Where do you source your wood? / Is your wood sustainable?

The Bar in a bag is made from FSC European poplar core birch faced ply. The Tall Bar and Wine racks are made from FSC.. European OAK - PAUL.

Where do you manufacture?

We are proud that our bars are made in our UK workshop in the Ribble Valley, Lancashire. We have a small team of 4 and the bars are made to order. Our main business, Paul Case Furniture, makes fine bespoke furniture for private and commercial clients and the same skilled craftsmen make our bars with the same care and attention that goes into our bespoke work. We have used local suppliers for our metal work and packaging.

How do I care for my bar?

Wood is a natural material and will stain. Clear up any spillages straight away.

All woods can vary in their grain patterns and colour, meaning there can be a significant colour variation from one piece to another. Over time, sunlight will cause the wood to darken and areas that are touched regularly will also darken throughout its life.

For the Bar in a Bag, we recommend keeping the bar in its bag when not in sure. It is designed to store your bar safely and we recommend putting the boards back in the same order so it is easy to assemble next time.  Please store it it somewhere dry and warm.

If you damage the bar top, we can offer replacement tops at a cost of £75 + £10 delivery.

The bar will not withstand bring stood on or sat on.

Bar in a bag - outdoor use

We recommend using your bar indoors but if you do decide to use it outside on a nice day, please note that it must not be left outside overnight or in the rain.
